Installation of HVAC Systems

We have a microgreens grow facility and Hunter has us setup to a T! He installed a large air conditioning and heating system. We couldn’t be more pleased with how it’s operating. It runs great and efficient. One of the great features is we can put our system on auto and set the air conditioner temperature and and the heating system so it will maintain our temperature year round. Great service! I called Backcountry Mechanical and Zach came out the next morning and checked my a/c that wasn't cooling very well and found out it was low on Freon he charged it up and it is cooling good now. Hunter came out to take a look at my AC which the other companies had condemned and told me I needed a new one, he was able to figure out the problem and replaced the coolant and saved me from paying thousands of dollars. My husband was out of town and it was a heat wave in rapid city. In house showed 82 and climbing. Outside over 93 to 100. Hunter came in earlier than scheduled ( which never happens) fixed problem and didn’t try to upsell me, which I appreciate. I won’t use anyone else…

My air conditioning went out late at night and I left a phone message to get it repaired and the next morning back country mechanical was here to fix it. The customer service knowledge and skill set was outstanding. They quickly fix the problem and add me up running in a short amount of time. I highly recommend the superior company. They were just totally outstanding and I am so grateful to them.

AC was not cooling. The technicians arrived on time and went to work immediately. They recharged my system and discussed the possibility of future problems to make me aware of potential issues. Hunter is the man! We needed two new large units. A central heat and air unit for the main house and a two Zone mini-split for our addition. Our house was built in 1956 with a large L shaped addition in 2006, so we had to do some problem solving to get all areas heated and cooled. We also had to get him to redo almost all of the old inadequate poor duct work. The price was much more reasonable than others. Plus others were not really interested as we live in Custer. Hunter replies to your inquiries in a timely manner. Very professional along with online invoices and payments. Hunter is a very professional man who cares and is growing his buisness, helping homeowners that most others ignore. He has a very prosperous future ahead. We are so thankful for him. Our heating and air bills are lower. The units we got had about $2000 in federal tax credits, sweet! We can now relax in the cold winters. A ++

My carbon monoxide detector went off after turning on my heat. I called and they were able to send a technician out within 3 hours. Travis did a thorough examination with his carbon monoxide detector, a quick unit clean, and ensured there was no carbon monoxide leakage. He was extremely professional and efficient. He offered to pit us on the call list for a spring checkup as well. He preemptively inspects your system to see where trouble may occur before it gets out of hand with expenses. Very satisfied with his timeliness, service, and professionalism. Would highly reccomend!
