    Very good customer service. They helped us out in a bind when our furnace’s heating element went out. There was an issue with the furnace company’s warranty, but Hunter was able to get them to honor it and save us ALOT of money. Thank you guys. 10/10 would recommend. See more See less

    Highly recommend this company! Their customer service was excellent! I had a schedule conflict with my original appointment date and had to leave a message after business hours. They texted me shortly after and we were easily able to arrange a new appointment. The technician, Zach was friendly, polite and efficient. It was rainy out and he took his shoes off before walking on my carpet. He had our AC cooling again within 15 minutes. The price was reasonable, they gave us a Veteran's discount and they offer a 30 day guarantee on their work. Thank you! See more See less

    Highly recommended and will definitely use again! My A/C went out and i couldn't find anyone that could repair a mini split. After contacting Backcountry Mechanical and explaining our situation, Hunter came out and did a full troubleshooting session. By the time he left i knew what was needed. He also went above and beyond and found out that the parts were going to be covered by the manufacturer warranty. Parts were ordered and he called me twice to keep me in the loop on what was going on. Once received, he came out and got everything installed. Very professional and courteous.     Wow. Backcountry Mechanical Heating and Cooling Solution solved my intermittent furnace issue on their first visit. This issue was looked at and left unresolved by two other HVAC companies. One of the companies did try different things and was really good but in the end only Backcountry Mechanical Heating and Cooling Solution resolved the long-standing issue. What set Hunter, the owner, and Zach, his employee apart from the other two companies is they listened. I wanted this old furnace repaired if it was safe to do so. The firebox was not cracked and had been inspected many times by the other two companies. Hunter and Zack looked at it, confirmed it was fine, and those two proceeded to diagnose the issue. They tested electrical components over & over while the furnace was trying to run and when it did run for a few minutes. They stared at it, gave it some thought, and then arrived at a solution. Viola! Fixed. This furnace has worked like a dream the last 5.5 days. It turns on and blows heat when it is cold and shuts off when the temp is reached. It does this multiple times throughout the day and night. Again, Backcountry Mechanical Heating and Cooling Solution listened to me. The other two companies showed up and immediately told me to replace the furnace, that it was not with the expense to fix. Their estimates ranged from $16,000 to $40,000 depending on what new system I installed. I did not want to spend that kind of money immediately - I needed the furnace fixed if it was safe to do so. When it did work, again, the issue was intermittent, it ran fine. But, those companies would not listen to me. They just wanted the replacement job. Thank you Hunter and Zach. Listening to customers, doing what they ask while explaining the pros & cons of what is being asked, trying different things, and thinking deep are qualities employed by many successful companies.     Wow! What a refreshing experience, Hunter (Owner) showed up on time and did a brief assessment of our heat pump, determined the condenser motor was bad. He didn't have one on the truck for our model so we made a follow up appt for the following day. This company uses texting to confirm appointments and gives you a heads when they are on the way...Brilliant! Showed up the next day, on time again, and fitted the new motor. After paying the bill, I immediately got a text with my paid invoice. The best part...they don't charge mileage, and we are 30 miles from Rapid ! Guess who's on speed dial if the need arises?
